A Story of Truth, Unity, and Unrecognized Greatness
This is a positive story—one rooted in truth, both past and present—about the vital role people of color have played in shaping American culture. Too often, these truths are overlooked, unappreciated, or forgotten. But it's time to pull together all that is good—for the greater good. A story of coming together in peace and love.
It’s time to tell the truth about the good people of color, especially the Black race. To share the real stories of those who gave so much—not just as contributors, but as the very foundation of this country. America was built on the backs of Black people. Yet, not even a simple “thank you” was ever offered. No credit was given. No justice was done.
We built it, but we were never allowed to enjoy it. We were denied everything.
And it wasn’t just Black people. Other people of color—Latinos, Asians, Native Americans—were also denied the opportunities and recognition they deserved.
What we bring to you now is a warm and powerful story of truth. A story that shows how good people, no matter their race or background, truly belong together. A story of what happens when unity, truth, and love are allowed to rise.
Because here’s the truth:
If given the chance, cream always rises to the top—no matter how hard the privileged or so-called entitled try to stop it.
This story is also a tribute.
To Deborah Wiley-Manning the visionary behind this story, a devoted wife to Andre Manning, a loving mother to Alfonzo Tolbert, and a guiding light for generations to follow. Her strength, wisdom, and grace lays the foundation for those who are coming after her.
And to her great-grandson, Gregory Taylor who carries Deborah's legacy with purpose and pride, turning her spirit into a story the world needs to hear.
Together, they are living proof that greatness, once sown, never dies—it only grows stronger, rising higher with each generation.
